claire's 1st bday

the brandts had us over for claires birthday the other day so thought id steal some of tashas pictures to put up of all our fun(:

i didnt get any picks of mom and dad or josh,or the food... whats wrong with me?!?anyway, dad grilled terryaki salmon and brawtwhurst last night for heidis birthday,and i made sweet potato fries,spicy baked beans, and deep dish cookie pie...chub helped me decorate and we had a few cards and presents... it was fun(:

i woke up to the cutest little lucy peeking out of her crib... while i nursed the lucy,mckinley got her morning fix of curious george...after breakfast it was on to playdough making, then some chores and lunch....after lunch it was naptime, and after naps, lucy went for her first bikeride....she hooted and hollered and patted my butt the whole 4 miles,then we piled the family in the car and picked up pizzas at sams and headed to lance and dana's for the evening.... had some good food, fellowship,and gave both lance and dana haircuts(: isnt dana's cute? (forgive the blurry photography, i was rrunning out the door when i snapped her picture)

Shes such a lovey. I feel sorry for everyone who hasnt had a chance to squeeze her. She is learning a few things lately... she says mama and dada...she can scoot or roll anywhere she wants to go,..she learned how to give kisses last week...and she nvr stops eating...
