A home made Christmas

Our little homemade mantle....the two tiny stockings in the middle are Baboo and Loveys

A home made Christmas

Tonight I made the girls little sleepy wraps for their dolls(or probably bears)that look very similar to my baby wrap. They are always trying to tie their baby's to them with blankets,and calling them sleepy wraps
I made McKinley an indoor hopscotch mat last night but I wrapped it before I took a picture...doh! Ill hv to snap a picture after she opens it(: she's always trying to get me to draw her hopscotch numbers out in the garage,so I think it'll be a hit!

A homade Christmas

We (JOSH AND I) created an army of alphabet dolls for Lucy because she's all about ABC's right now. I love how they turned out....they will make great quiet toys for church(:

A Homemade Christmas

Just a tiny stocking stuffer for my Lucy....her big sister has makeup that she is ALWAYS trying to get into,so I made her some play makeup of her own- minus the mess (;
Easiest project EVER- clean out some old eyeshadow boxes,and pour fingernail polish inside- allow time to dry,and voila!

A homemade Christmas

Tonight I made some Christmas decor for my home. I bought some giant cardboard letters at Joanne's for our Christmas photo/card props,and after using them figured I would embellish and find a place for them in the living room,on a shelf or wall.....love how the turned out.
I spray painted them off white,sprinkled on some gold glitter,and sprayed a coat of sealant on. I could be more pleased with the results,I will snap another picture when they are dry and in their proper place.

A Homemade Christmas

I will try to post my projects as I go,I worked on a bunch tonight but some are not finished.We don't have much money to spend this year( or any year it seems like) so I am trying to get creative so my girls will have a good Christmas....usually I see something on Pinterest that I like and skip the tutorials and just wing my projects. Last night I made my girls blankets with some fleece bought for cheap in Black Friday....took a few hours,but i know they will love them....they love all things "cozy".
These were easy enought,no sewing involved,just put two peices of fleece together,cut the edges in strips,and tie,tie,tie!
