FIRST FRUITS
im so excited...heres my first crop of lettuce from my little garden!(: i had a yummy tuna salad today and put my home-grown lettuce in there,added an interesting flavor!
this is my fancy lettuce with some new zealand spinach mixed in...had an herby flavor

We have. We have had Broccoli, cabbage, onions and are working on peas right now. All has been frozen or canned. We are working on crout today.

I have a handful of little tomatoes off of a plant in our doorway. I didn't plant it. If I HAD planted it, it would have died. I have a book about doing 10 things to change your life for the better. The first is: write REAL letters. The 2nd is: grow lettuce. That's as far as I got. i wrote a real letter and I bought some lettuce seeds.
